Excerpts of my extended powerpoint pitch deck for a new game “Uniland“ which is an iteration of “Stone Age Boba Shop.“ After many rounds of playtest, I decided to base on our feedbacks and keep the crafting system while changing the resource gathering and simulation systems.

During my intern at Tinybop, I was tasked to research, design, and pitch three AR mini games to make in Unity. Here are some exerpt of the pitch deck on the project that got selected, an AR racing game in which the player could place tracks that automatically changes to align with the physical space around the player.

From Design Draft to Game Prototype of the unique crafting system I designed for “Stone Age Boba Shop“. Each item is represented in a block form like Tetris, and the player has to assemble all the materials in the correct combination, like building Lego, to craft new items, providing a hands-on experience.

For Mars Homecoming, I designed a city building game in mixed reality that truly takes the advantage of MR. I focused on the possibility to stack buildings together, and make a scoring system based on proximity between buildings and different type/clusters of buildings.

In these two game jam projects, I put my puzzle design skills into practice, both in 3D and in 2D. Being attentive to Metrics and Navigation, I created a combined 8 maps that challenge the player’s strategic planning while also having a good navigating experience.

As part of Uniland, I designed this home building system along with a research system and a resource/economics system along with it. For now we have 15 buildings and 20 resources, and I designed this resource/economics curve in order to intentionally shape the player’s progress arch into an explorative experience.
